Sliding lid wooden cassette made of birch plywood with acrylic glass lid

In Austria this storage system is affectionately called “Kasterl”.

Over the years you have accumulated a few bronze matrices with a diameter of 4,5 cm and are you looking for a nice storage option that protects your matrices at the same time?
How about this wooden cassette?

The Kasterl has a sliding lid made of acrylic glass for quick opening. The acrylic glass gives you a perfect view at all times.
Internal dimensions: 330 x 210 x 30 mm
External dimensions: 347 x 226 x 40 mm

Since wood is a natural product, the box can have different grains. The acrylic glass lid comes with a film on both sides so that it arrives scratch-free. After receiving you just have to peel off the film.

Inside there is space for 24 bronze matrices with a diameter of 4,5 cm including boxes (or if you place them very tightly even up to 27 bronze matrices).
It becomes even more organized with our insert shelf for matrices, which assigns the matrices a fixed place. Then there is space inside for up to 15 bronze matrices including boxes. Nupsie and cleaning tools etc. can be stored on the right.
The shelf is available to purchase separately in our shop.

We deliberately designed the box so that it takes up as little space as possible. This means you can stack several wooden cassettes (with the same length/width, there is also storage for the larger POM matrices) on top of each other and expand them upwards when new matrices are added. The Kasterl is deliberately designed so that when several Kasterl with acrylic glass lids are stacked on top of each other, the acrylic glass lids do not touch each other, thus avoiding scratches.

Here in the version with acrylic glass lid, without engraving.
