Wooden Safe -- Crack the Code
Description

Description
Item number: 1210-2-TresorBundle Category:

Attention craft lovers, here comes our detailed kit for a wooden safe! Building on an idea from M. Klements (Crack The Code), we optimized his design and improved and expanded it in a few places:

As a puzzle, it's not only fun, it can serve as a special place for a gift or voucher.
If you expand the safe with the circuit board kit, you can place a die or a voucher inside as a gift during assembly and lock the safe. The recipient then has to solve a puzzle to crack the code, and can then open the safe and see the gift hidden inside.

Our miniature safe is delivered as a laser-cut housing kit. The housing kit consists of around 35 components. It takes around 1,5 to 2 hours to assemble the safe (including the drying time for wood glue). No prior knowledge is necessary and only minimal tools are required (small screwdriver plus 4 small screws, 4 clamps or screw clamps or clothespins, some wood glue and 2 household rubber bands).

The link for detailed construction instructions to download is included with the order. An email address is available for support and help.

Size: 14 x 13 x 13

Weight: 250 g

Country of Manufacture: Germany (Schwabenländle 😉 )

Our safe kit is made of multi-layer wood, so it can have different grains and sometimes a knot. The wood can be painted/waxed (when assembled), no sawing is necessary, only a little gluing with a simple wood glue is required.

The matrices in the picture are for decoration only and are not included.

Returns can only be made if they have not been assembled and are undamaged.

Important note:

The electronic locking function is not included in the kit, but can be purchased as a bundle here. This provides an extra kick of excitement for the recipient. The safe can also be used as a special money box and small hiding place. So not only is it a feast for the eyes as a decoration, or it brings a few exciting and entertaining moments as a puzzle, but it can also be used as a small safe. The original design calls for a free-flying structure. However, it is more reliable, more visually appealing and ultimately simpler to build the electronics on a circuit board. We have therefore developed an additional circuit board, which can also be purchased as a bundle. The board can be assembled with the components and soldered together. A component list can be found in the instructions. The assembly of this optional circuit board with approx. 15 components requires approximately another hour. The software was also completely redeveloped. This can be downloaded via a link in the building instructions.
