This raw cacao powder is an incredible way to get a chocolate kick without the nasty ingredients that commercial chocolate cocoa powder can contain. Technically speaking, cacao pods are a superfood. They are rich in calcium, iron, zinc, copper and potassium and yet contain little sugar. Raw cocoa powder is ideal for baking, smoothies, shakes, rice pudding, ice cream and much more (including pasta!!!). Raw cocoa powder has a very similar taste to cocoa, but is more intense. Mix 2 teaspoons (8 g) of raw cacao powder with your favorite nut butter, a drizzle of honey, and a pinch of salt for a delicious spread on crackers or rice cakes. For a great smoothie, add 2 tsp (8g) of raw cocoa powder to a blender with a banana and 200ml of your favorite milk.
